We are proud to be one of Yorkshire's longest-established specialist podiatry practices. Over the years, we have developed a strong reputation for combining clinical experience with a practical, patient-focused approach.
Our work covers a broad range of podiatry care, from routine chiropody and nail care to sports podiatry, gait analysis, orthoses, shockwave therapy and the management of complex foot and lower-limb conditions. This breadth of experience allows us to support both everyday foot health needs and more specialist musculoskeletal problems.
All our podiatrists are HCPC registered and bring extensive experience across musculoskeletal podiatry, biomechanics and lower-limb care. Our team works collaboratively to provide clear advice and evidence-led treatment across our Yorkshire clinics.

Bob Longworth
DPodM MSc (Clinical Podiatric Biomechanics)

Bob is a Musculoskeletal Podiatrist with 40 years of experience working with Orthopaedic and sports injury cases. He qualified in 1986 from Salford University and received a Post-Graduate Masters degree in ‘Clinical Podiatric Biomechanics’ from Staffordshire University in 2004. He went on to teach a module of that Masters course with Andy Horwood for 20 years. He now lectures about feet to the ‘Sports and Exercise Medicine’ Masters students at Leeds University and has also taught Podiatric Biomechanics to third year students at the University of Malta where he helped develop their Podopaediatric course, which addresses the treatment of children’s feet.
He has undertaken post-graduate modules in Rheumatology, Pharmacology, Steroid injection therapy, Foot Mobilisation Techniques and Fascial Manipulation. He has lectured at national and international conferences and in 2015 won an NHS achievement award for ‘Excellence in Education and Research’.
Bob has done voluntary work with the charity ‘Calcutta Rescue’ treating the feet of Leprosy patients on a street clinic in Calcutta, India. He is now Podiatry co-ordinator for the charity ‘Festival Medical Services’ which offers medical care to festival goers at the Glastonbury and Reading festivals.
He is married with 3 children but still manages to get out and sing with Commoners Choir and attend the odd gig here and there. Although currently looking after the Leeds Utd players, he remains an ardent Man City fan.
Dan Broadley
BSc MSc (Clinical Podiatric Biomechanics)

Dan has 26 years experience as a Podiatrist working in both the private and NHS settings with a variety of clients and has a wide knowledge of foot and ankle problems. Dan also has specialised in both musculoskeletal conditions and foot surgery working in both of these departments in the NHS for a number of years. He has good knowledge of both operative and non operative options and management of post operative complications.
Dan qualified in 1998 with a BSc Hons degree in Podiatry and has since gone on to undertake a masters degree in Clinical Podiatric Biomechanics in 2011. Over the years Dan has continued to develop his skills and has undertaken various modules on the Podiatric surgical masters and courses including, injection therapy, acupuncture, foot mobilisation and a Case accredited diagnostic ultrasound course.
Prior to joining us, Dan worked as a lead clinician in musculoskeletal podiatry and also as a staff podiatrist in a Podiatric surgical unit. He continues to work in an NHS musculoskeletal clinic as an extended scope practitioner. This current and past experience involves working alongside Podiatric and Orthopaedic surgeons, Radiology, Physiotherapy and Rheumatology teams.
Dan has extensive knowledge of working with a diverse client group and the unique experience of working in both surgical and musculoskeletal clinics. He has up to date knowledge and evidence based practice of managing non operative, peri operative and post operative cases.
In his leisure time, Dan likes to keep fit, weight training, cross fit and before having children did various martial arts.
Lee Short
BSc MSc (Clinical Podiatric Biomechanics)

Before establishing Podiatry Clinics, Lee worked for many years as an extended scope practitioner in the NHS and as a specialist clinician in rehabilitation teams within the Ministry of Defence. He continues to provide specialist services to injured military recruits. Lee has developed a special interest / knowledge in running analysis and rehabilitation. He has vast experience working with the general public and professional sports personnel alike.
Whilst in the NHS he worked with Haemophilia patients for 10 years, helping to reduce ankle damage with orthoses and boot adaptations that reduced the number of bleeds into the ankle joint.
He is skilled in Foot Mobilisation and Fascial Manipulation techniques.
He is continually updating his professional development within the field of musculoskeletal podiatry and is able to offer expert advice based on the latest research evidence and current trends..
Lee is a keen recreational runner and enjoys snowboarding and walking with his family. He is also a season ticket holder at his beloved Newcastle United.
Simon O’Donnell

Simon is Musculoskeletal Podiatrist with over 40 years experience. He works with a variety of client groups dealing with the diagnosis and non-operative treatments of Orthopaedic conditions and sports injuries. Simon has a wealth of experience working alongside other healthcare professionals. He currently works in both the private sector and NHS. He has worked at Podiatry Clinics since 2006.
Simon first qualified in 1985 and obtained his first post-graduate diploma (PGD), in clinical podiatric biomechanics in 2006 from Staffordshire University. He since went on to gain diplomas in musculoskeletal medicine and injection therapy in 2008 and 2009 respectively. He gained a Masters degree (MSc), in Podiatry in 2012 from the University of Huddersfield.
Prior to joining Podiatry Clinics, Simon was based in London where he was the lead clinician in musculoskeletal Podiatry for the NHS in Westminster. He continues to work as an extended scope practitioner for the NHS. This work involves routinely working beyond the usual expected professional practice. often involving working with hospital consultants in Orthopaedics, Radiology and Rheumatology.
Simon has extensive experience in working with diverse client groups ranging from infants to Army recruits though works mainly with the general public. He has an up to date knowledge of current thinking and evidence based practice of the non-operative management of musculoskeletal conditions of the lower limb.
In his leisure time, Simon is a recreational runner and cyclist. He’s a lifelong supporter of Man Utd but we don’t hold that against him.
