Oli Williamson is a Physiotherapist who has worked at the highest level of Athletics, with team GB via the British Olympic Association and exclusively with Olympic athletes across the London 2012, Rio 2016, Tokyo 2020, and Paris 2024 for the EIS (English Institute of Sport). He rehabilitates injured athletes and has a special interest in the lower limb injuries.

Oli now works along side us at The Wetherby Clinic and kindly offered to do a session with us on things to consider when ‘rehabbing’ a patient and when it’s safe for them to go back to their exercise. In the ‘CORE’ gym upstairs at the clinic, he has force plates that can quantitatively measure ankle strength to give a definitive ‘yes’ or ‘no’ for returning to activity after a calf or achilles injury.
His approach was pragmatic and refreshing and we all learned a lot. If you’re struggling with a sports injury and the rehab you’ve tried isn’t working, we can highly recommend a visit to see Oli –
